AHCMC Annual Conference
2014 summit will focus on identifying practical solutions to address the myriad of housing needs facing our changing demographics and growth patterns. Issues to be highlighted include the newly-proposed zoning code rewrite, new trends in single-room occupancy (SRO) housing, housing for physically and mentally challenged individuals, mortgage foreclosure updates, housing near transit-oriented development and many other issues associated with the need for affordable housing in Montgomery County. This day of listening, learning, discussing and debating also will provide an excellent opportunity to network and engage in meaningful dialogue throughout the day.
