00:34:34 Jerry Poje: Let’s make sure all are aware of the new Housing Indicator Tool - both the narrative and dashboard:   https://housing-indicator-tool.netlify.app/

00:49:38 Jerry Poje: Also recommend Heather McGee’s “The Sum of Us - What Racism Costs Everyone and How We can Prosper Together.”

01:02:16 Jerry Poje: Accepting racial disparities has created growing losses to the U.S. GDP that amounted to $2.9 trillion in 2019, and that over the last 30 years add up to approximately $71 trillion. https://www.frbsf.org/our-district/about/sf-fed-blog/economic-gains-from-equity/

01:09:43 LINDA DORSEY-WALKER: The question is do we have the will to DJUST A VERY DIFFERENT TYPE OF RACIAL DISPARITY.   SPECIFICALLY, AS WE BEGIN TO DISCUSS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AMERICAN JOBS ACT AND THE AMERICAN RECOVERY PROGRAM MANY AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE SAYING THAT BIDEN'S PLAN TO BUILD BACK BETTER WILL BE A BOOM TO MANY LATINO CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES THAT REFUSE TO HIRE AN

01:11:17 Jerry Poje: We’ve all benefitted by younger leaders reframing the debate on “Black Lives Matter.”  How doing we find synergies in this moment, especially with the next generation at greater risk than ever.  In Fairfax County, the President of Northern Virginia Community College stated that 15% of her students were homeless.  Shameful statement in one of the richest county’s in the region.

01:12:16 Juan Espinoza: Seat Pleasant is currently undergoing a major urban planning transformation. It has the the right ingredients from systematic solutions, community participation and funding for minorities projects. However, despite it when looking the master plan planning to be adopted it has no essence to retain or provide minorities. What is that specific vision planners and developers need ?

01:14:06 LINDA DORSEY-WALKER: Y AFRICAN AMERICANS AND EVEN WHITES.  hOW CAN WE ASSURE THAT AFRICAN AMERICAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES , WHICH DO HIRE PEOPLE OF EVERY RACE GET THEIR FAIR SHARE OF THE JOBS AND CONSTRUCTION WORK?  MANY HISPANIC BUSINESS OWNERS SAY EEOC AND HUMAN RELATIONS LAWS DO NOT APPLY TO THEM, THEREFORE THEY DO NOT HAVE TO HIRE PEOPLE OF OTHER RACES.  MANY ASIAN BUSINESS OWNERS FEEL THE SAME WAY, (BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THEM THROUGH THE HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION.)  HOW CAN WE PROTECT EVERYONES RIGHT TO BE HIRED , EVEN BY NEW AMERICAN COMPANY OWNERS.

01:17:04 Jerry Poje: Remember that our former black director of HUD pampered his federal nest with a $30,000 investment in a better private dining room.  Secretary Marcia Fudge is the real deal.
